Canada
This year we hunted cats in Canada, very beautiful nature, beautiful mountains, the hunt is completely different, not like the others. There are big changes in temperature, today there may be above-zero temperatures and rain, and tomorrow -20 degrees, so it’s good when there is snow during the hunt; if it rains, the dogs won’t pick up the tracks.
The hunt turned out to be difficult, the rangers measure the track and chase with dogs, the dogs drive the puma into a tree and you shoot. It happens that the trail is large, but the cat itself is small; several times we made a difficult approach up to the mountains for several kilometers and did not shoot.
I was also lucky enough to catch a bobcat, but not all hunters have such luck, we accidentally saw tracks and caught it along the way. We also planned to catch a lynx, placed decoys, sat at a temperature of -20 degrees, but the lynx never came to us.
The food in Canada is delicious, we lived in a nice rented house, it was a good vacation!
